The USB-C charge & sync transfers data at super-fast USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds and charges mobile devices
The 16 USB-C ports can transfer data at speeds up to 10 Gbps, which is twice as fast as USB 3.1 Gen 1. When all ports are used simultaneously, each port delivers up to 0.9 amps of power. Because the ports are BC 1.2 compatible, they can deliver up to 2.4 amps of charging power to mobile devices (when connected to the power supply).
You need to consider two factors: connections and power.
Check the connections
First, you need to determine what type of ports your devices require. Most charging hubs offer a combination of USB-A and USB-C ports. Ensure that the hub has the right ports for your devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, or Chromebooks.
Power and compatibility
Check the hub's maximum output power. For fast charging or for devices with high power consumption, such as laptops, you need a hub with sufficient wattage. USB-C Power Delivery (PD) ports can deliver higher power and are ideal for laptops and larger devices.
